Where we work

We serve metro Atlanta. Select a county to see how the waiver works there, which Area Agency on Aging covers it, and how to start.

Provisional list. These are the ten counties of the Atlanta Regional Commission region, used as a placeholder. The county pages are set to noindex until ACHS confirms the actual service area — publishing a county we do not serve is both a wasted page and an accuracy problem under DCH §605.1.28.1.

How the county matters

Georgia's Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program is a statewide program, but the front door is local. Your county determines which Area Agency on Aging screens you, which providers can serve you, and which case management agencies you can choose among. In metro Atlanta the Area Agency on Aging is the Atlanta Regional Commission, whose public service is Empowerline.

If your county is not on this list, you are not stuck — the waiver runs statewide and another agency covers your area. Your Area Agency on Aging will tell you which. How that call works.
