What qualifications does a Lead Case Manager need?
Georgia's case management manual (§2038) requires the Lead Case Manager at an EDWP agency to be a Georgia-licensed registered nurse. The manual's staffing model also defines a case management RN, a social services worker, an ADRC screening specialist and an LPN.
Is this field work or office work?
Both. EDWP case management involves in-home assessments and visits across the service area, plus documentation, authorizations and coordination with provider agencies.
